I was notified by a kindly subscriber today that she had not received any emails telling her when a new blog post had been uploaded.

I have checked my system and for some reason the plugin that fired off the emails had been either deactivated or uninstalled; I’m not sure which because all the subscribers’ email addresses were still in the database. I too had not been receiving emails either, and I hadn’t noticed. What a saddo.

I have reinstalled the plugin; let’s see what happens.

Anyway, my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. There may be a backlog of posts for you to read, depending on when the notification system actually went down – I think it may have been offline for a couple of weeks at least. Still, that’s a lot of blog for you to enjoy.
